Artificial nests on Dionysades Islands

Artificial nests were placed or constructed with natural materials on Dionysades Islands in early February by the project team. The nests are ready to welcome the Eleonora’s falcons who will soon return from Madagascar and, before going to the mountainous areas, will make a short stop at the islets where they nest. During their stay in them they will inspect the available nesting places and choose the one they consider most appropriate. We hope our nests will satisfy them.
